Ms. CHERYL Teresa VARGAS
Cheryl Vargas is the Creative in Chief at Studio 928, which is the culmination of many years of melding together art, technology, and teaching into a business she and her clients love.
A Chicago native, she is a painter, sculptor, graphic artist, and event planner. She loves portraiture—primarily acrylics, but also pastels and graphite.
She’s recently incorporated watercolors into her offerings, and we’re all excited about the possibilities of painting flowers, mid-century modern abstracts, and landscapes.
Her sculpted art brings out the beauty in the very things which pollute and clutter our environment, primarily plastics and containers.
She holds a BA in Graphic Arts from Concordia University in River Forest, IL. Her work life includes promoting Studio 928, teaching, and actively supporting young artists. She enjoys spending time with her family, traveling and visiting with friends.
