Rooted in Service to Others: A Service-Themed Summer Camp for Middle Schoolers
Incoming 5th-8th graders are invited to join us for a summer service camp at First Presbyterian Church of La Grange (FPCLG), 150 S. Ashland Ave., on June 9-13, 9:00-11:30 a.m. We will conduct a variety of service projects for local organizations while getting to know each other and learning why serving others is important. We will serve Monday-Thursday and celebrate with a fun activity on Friday. We will always meet and end at FPCLG and either stay for an on-site project or walk to our service location
'Faith Forest' Summer Kids' Camp, August 4-8
Kids in preschool (at least four years old and potty trained) through incoming 4th graders are invited to join us for our Faith Forest summer camp taking place August 4-8, 9:00-11:15 a.m. at First Presbyterian Church of La Grange (FPCLG). Join us for a week of crafts, games, stories and snacks. Students will be divided by grade levels for age-appropriate activities. Old Piano Gets New Life as Outdoor Art Near La Grange Fountain.
The tradition of impromptu summer concerts continues as a colorful painted piano makes its debut this week near the outdoor fountain by Village Hall, according to the La Grange Business Association. An old, upright piano turned into a work of art will be placed there through August 31 for performances by local musicians and music lovers alike. It is available for all ages, abilities and types of music; everyone is encouraged to play. In September, the vibrant piano will be moved outside of the Stone
