Christine Banks
Christine is returning to the LGBA as author/illustrator of the book, Adventures of Beanie the Spider, the story of an imaginative little spider exploring her surroundings in a fine art gallery: https://www.beaniethespider.com. You may remember Christine (“Chrissy”) from LGBA and village event designs in the early 2010’s, such as Halloween Walk, original Brew Moon, the Village’s parking/valet map, Girlfriend’s Getaway and more. And who could forget the fun designs she made for Summer Art Projects featuring birdhouses, benches, coolers, and little free libraries (https://www.hukipooks.com).
Christine has experience as an Executive Director with over 18 years experience in general management, communications, and graphic design, with 4 years focused in fine art gallery management in the nonprofit sector, and volunteers her time as a Design Review Commissioner for the Village of La Grange (2nd term).
