Lunch & Learn: Breaking the Myths of Hiring and Retaining Talent
In this session, we're delighted to welcome our expert speaker, Susan Gotham, who will discuss trade secrets for talent recruitment and applying those to small business. We will also share success stories from small businesses who have won the war on talent and retained them.
With over 20 years of experience in human resource and recruiting, Susan is a human resource specialist with Synergy Companies and a former president of the Chicago Chapter of the National Association of Women Business Owners. Her career includes working for staffing giants like Robert Half and Manpower, expanding the Chicago market for Target Stores, working as an HR Business Partner with a Japanese manufacturing firm and owning her own HR consulting and recruiting business. Due to her business ownership experience, clients rely on Susan to not only consult on the laws and regulations surrounding employment but to understand how to implement for an owner’s perspective.
