One of the highlights of Chicago's summer festival scene returns to the western suburbs on Friday, August 5 through Sunday, August 7 with a weekend of live band performances, family-friendly carnival rides, kids activities, spectacular fireworks, local bites and unique attractions.
Held in the spacious 19-acre Gordon Park, classic rock music headliners like Infinity, Hairbangers Ball and Wedding Banned will perform in addition to well-known local groups like American English, Anthem and Trailer Park Twisters.
An all-ages carnival will feature unlimited ride specials at select times throughout the weekend as well as individual tickets. Carnival hours are Friday from 5pm - 10pm, Saturday from 1pm - 10pm; and Sunday from 1pm - 9:30pm.
La Grange Endless Summerfest is organized by the Park District of La Grange and the La Grange Business Association with support from the Village of La Grange. It is presented by Uber, Miller Lite and Hop District Brewing along with dozens of other local businesses.
Admission to the festival is $5 per person ages 16+ from 5pm - 10:00pm on Friday; $5 per person 16+ on Saturday and Sunday beginning 3:00pm. There is no admission charge to enter the Carnival.
A spectacular fireworks show will close the weekend on Sunday beginning 9:45pm.
Festival goers can get their food fix at booths from popular local food establishments. Beer and wine will also be available, and tips at each beverage tent will be donated to various nonprofit groups in the community.
A festival marketplace will highlight the services and amenities of various local businesses throughout the weekend.
Parking near Gordon Park will be limited, and local residents are encouraged to walk or bike to and from the event, or call ride share service Uber. See the parking map here.
