About Us
The LaGrange Area Department of Special Education (LADSE) is a special education cooperative that collaborates with 15 member school districts in DuPage and Cook Counties to provide high-quality, evidenced-based programs and services that result in positive outcomes for students. LADSE's Vocational Department works with local high school students from Lyons Township High School (LTHS), Riverside Brookfield High School, (RBHS), and Hinsdale South's Deaf and Hard of Hearing Program to help students with disabilities transition from school, to work or life, as independent functioning adults. LADSE's Vocational Department provides counseling, job training, job coaching, and job placement to its high school students. Through collaborative partnerships with local businesses, such as job shadows, tours, work training, volunteer opportunities, etc., LADSE's vocational students can learn more about the world of work. If you want to partner with LADSE's Vocational Department, contact Valerie Cordes at vcordes@ladse.org
