DESCRIPTION:Join the Park District of La Grange to kick off this year's holiday season with the annual Holiday Tree Lighting on Tuesday\, December 4th from 6:00-7:00 p.m. at Waiola Park located at 47th St. and Waiola Avenue.\, La Grange\, IL. This is a FREE family event for believers of all ages. Stay warm inside our tent with some hot cocoa and enjoy the show. The event will feature Those Funny Little People Elves\, and a special visitor from the North Pole! The actual tree lighting will occur at approximately 6:10 p.m. Get your family\, friends\, or a group together and purchase a holiday tree to decorate. Stop by the Recreation Center\, 536 East Avenue to register and pick up the tree decorating guidelines. The cost per lighted tree is $65\, and the purchasing deadline is Monday\, November 26th. Trees can be decorated any time after Thursday\, November 29th.
