DESCRIPTION:Our Women in Leadership Committee invites you to an interesting evening of ideas\, support and networking at our first speaker series of accomplished women in 2023.\n\n\n\nWe're delighted to welcome Marie Newman as our speaker this evening. Former Congresswoman\, marketing executive\, antibullying activist\, author\, Moms Demand Action spokesperson\, Women's Rights activist and national LGBTQ+ advocate and spokesperson\, Marie Newman has walked through many fires in her life.  \n\n\n\nMarie believes these fires empowered her to create change in our community and across the country.  She has been frequently interviewed on MSNBC\, CNN\, Fox\, NBC\, ABC\, CBS\, PBS over the last decade for her congressional work and activism. Her remarks will focus on the resources and support provided to women-owned businesses\, particularly from the Small Business Administration.\n\n\n\nWe'll be gathering at the newest event space in La Grange: Milkstop West Side. An expansion of Milkstop Cafe and Cocktails\, you'll love this unique sandwich shop by day and private event space in the evenings and on Sunday. Refreshments will be available.\n\n\n\nSpace is very limited\; don't delay in registering.
